Range
Three shades, two faces, one plant.
Travertine colour is mostly about temperature: whether the wall reads warm or cool under the light the room actually gets.
The cast travertine range covers Chao Bai Dong in both open-pore and filled faces, Roma and Silver Travertine. Chao Bai Dong is the warm neutral, Roma is the warmer sand tone, and Silver Travertine is the cool grey. Each is available at 3200 × 1600 mm in 20, 25 or 30 mm.
| Shade | Tone | Reads best |
|---|---|---|
| Chao Bai Dong | Warm white, soft banding | Lobbies, bathrooms, facades in daylight |
| Roma | Warm sand, stronger banding | Interiors with warm lighting, hospitality |
| Silver Travertine | Cool grey, fine banding | Minimal schemes, north light, corporate |
Judge the sample in the room
A 100 mm sample judged at a desk tells you almost nothing. Set an A4 piece against the wall at the time of day the room is used, next to the other finishes: the floor, the timber, the metal. Travertine shifts more than most materials when the light temperature changes.
Faces change the colour reading
An open-pore face casts small shadows in every pit, which lowers the apparent lightness and warms the tone. A filled face reads lighter and flatter. The same pigment can look like two different stones, which is why the face is specified with the colour, not separately.
Questions buyers ask
- What colours are available in cast travertine?
- Chao Bai Dong (open pore and filled), Roma and Silver Travertine, all at 3200 × 1600 mm in 20, 25 or 30 mm.
- Can a bespoke colour be matched?
- Yes, against a physical reference. It requires a colour development and a mould run, so it is quoted with a minimum quantity.
- Will the shade match between orders?
- If the retained standard is held at the plant, yes. Ask for the batch reference and keep a physical sample on site for later phases.
